South African GHOEMA Nominated singer-songwriter, Lukas de Beer, releases his debut album “Storm op Jupiter” in October 2015.

The ten-track album will boast nine original Afrikaans tracks, including a cover of ‘Weduwee se Kruik’ which was written by Lucas Maree, as well as ‘Love is Dangerous’ – the only English track to feature on the album. The album, produced by Helmut Meijer, was mastered at the legendary Abbey Road studio, famous for producing hits by The Beatles and Pink Floyd, amongst others.

“Storm op Jupiter” will feature moving stories with strong spiritual undertones and references to de Beers life changing testimony, amidst an array of blues, classic rock, folk and pop sounds.

With songs that speak about the artists walk with the Lord, such as ‘Verlore seun’, ‘Ankers’ and ‘By my’, it is evident that de Beer is no stranger to song writing and the Word of God. The singer holds an honors degree in Theology and over 25 years’ experience in music ministry with a vast amount of his work recorded and sung across the country in many churches.
