BAMA’s Gospel Festival provides platform for aspiring artists and funding for NPO’s

The Bay Area Music Awards presents a Gospel Festival that provide an opportunity to raise funds for churchs and NPOs

The Bay Area Music Awards (BAMA) will host a Gospel Festival on February 28, 2015 at the Adcock Stadium in Port Elizabeth. Aimed at honoring God with the musical talent found throughout the Nelson Mandela Bay, the event will feature artists nominated in the BAMA’s Gospel category.

Churchs and Non Profit Organizations’ are invited to use the festival to raise funds for their organisations by selling tickets. A donation of R10 will be made for every ticket sold.

The Bay Area Music Awards, managed by Zipcode Brand Management, recognises excellence in singers, musicians and producers within the Port Elizabeth music scene and provide a platform for local artists to build an audience and promote their brand.  Artists are entered via nomination only and are then able to gain potential votes by performing at the various BAMA events.

The BAMAs invite members of the public to nominate your church choir, Gospel band or talented Gospel singers for the various Gospel music categories. This year’s prizes are to the value of over R150 000 and  include a new Datsun GO.  Nominations can be sent via SMS by smsing: GOSPEL and the name of the artist/group to 35622.
