Bethel Music SA tour organisers announced earlier today that Port Elizabeth will be added to their South African tour, set to take place in March this year.
The Port Elizabeth worship night will be held on March 30, 2015. The event venue information is yet to be released. PE was not on the original SA tour itinerary but local worshipers started a Facebook page in a bid to bring the popular worship collective from Bethel Church in Redding,California to their city — and their efforts were rewarded!
City Hill Church in Hillcrest will host the Durban worship night, happening on March 27,2015. The Pretoria event will take place on March, 26 at Hoerskool Die Wilgers and the Johannesburg event, which will take place on March 25, will be held at Woord & Lewe in Boksburg.
The Cape Town worship night, which will take place on March 28, has already been sold out and a spokesperson for event organisers, Wow Music Distribution, has confirmed that no more tickets will be released.
Tour team: Brian Johnson, Jeremy Riddle, Amanda Cook, Hunter Thompson and Kalley Heiligenthal will be ministering songs from the latest Bethel Music album, We Will Not Be Shaken, which was released on January 16, 2015.
The album recording was held during an evening of worship on a mountaintop overlooking Shasta Lake north of Redding. As reported in Gateway News, a worldwide premiere of the We Will Not Be Shaken film, showcasing awe-inspiring visuals from the recording, was streamed for 24 hours a few days prior to the album release. The album reached number 1 on the SA iTunes chart a week after it was released and currently holds the number 1 spot on the USA gospel iTunes chart.
Tickets are selling at R190 per seat and can be purchased at itickets.
