Vuka Africa Foundation has received a word from the Lord to intensify prayer for our nation from December 1 2017 until December 23 2017.
The call is to flood the nation with prayer during this period, says Vuka Africa founder Apostle Linda Gobodo.
The call to prayer reads as follows:
We perceive and believe that we are in the time and season of fulfilment of the prophecies which have been prophesied over the nation of South Africa. As a result of this, we must get ready for what the Lord is about to do in our nation!
As we pray for our nation, let us also remember the nation of Zimbabwe because according to prophecy, the Lord has divinely linked these two nations.

The call to intensify prayer, is to all South Africans, churches, prayer movements, groups, ministries, intercessors, prayer warriors etc.
What should we be praying for?
• Pray for revival to break out
• Pray through the prophetic words over the nation
• Pray and usher in God’s government
When should we pray?
The call is for 24/7 prayer; keeping the gates of times which are as follows:
• 03h00 (3am)
• 06h00 (6am)
• 09h00 (9am)
• 12h00 (12pm)
• 15h00 (3pm)
• 18h00 (6pm)
• 21h00 (9pm)
• 00h00 (12 midnight)
Where should we pray?
In churches, work places, schools, homes.
We also appeal to churches and prayer centres.
Churches and ministries are also encouraged to take hands with us to mobilise prayer in the nation. Please inform us if you are able to open your facility for prayer from the 1st to the 23rd of December 2017.

Can we add some imprecations to these prayer points?
We have reached the stage where we should pray for the Lord’s judgement on those leaders who mock the Lord, violate His Law and persecute His Church.
To West Men : I don’t know where you get this from as Jesus exhorted us to PRAY for our ENEMIES and He alone is the Judge … Matthew 7:1
Precisely, Barbara, when we pray for our enemies, we do NOT seek judgement or vengeance for ourselves, we leave it up to the Lord – then we live in the peace of Christ, knowing that He is in control.
The imprecations in the Psalms and other Scriptures show man crying out for justice and then finding comfort in entrusting it to God, rather than take matters into his own hands. God answers these prayers and deals with evil.
So pray for your enemies, but not that they may continue on their path of doing evil, but that they may turn from their ways, see the light of Christ, or be stopped in their tracks.
‘Turn the other cheek’ does not mean be a punchbag.
This is a tricky discussion, for it depends on which Scriptures you pick from the Bible.
Just today in my devotions I read some scary verses from the same book of Jeremiah: 14:11 (7:16) “Do NOT pray for the welfare of this people”
15:1 “Though Moses and Samuel (two great intercessors – Ex 32, 1 Sam 7) stood before me,yet my heart would not turn to this people”. And ‘prophecies’ don’t always help, see Jer 8:10,11; 14:14-16.
This calls for discernment so that we may pray in the will of God for each situation 1 John 5:14,15. Knowing God and His will is a prior condition for the prayer of faith. There is no simple, superficial answer, for God is both Angry and Loving. Jer 13:14; 16:14,15.
As I read this, I feel constrained to share this scripture from Revelation 6. “And when he had opened the fifth seal, I saw under the alter, the souls of them that were slain for the word of GOD and for the testimony which they held. And they cried with a loud voice, saying: How long O Lord,Holy and True, dost thou not judge and avenge our blood on them that dwell on the earth?
And white robes were given unto every one of them; and it was said unto them; that they should rest yet for a little season, until their fellow servants also and their brethren, that should be killed as they (were), should be fulfilled.
