Carl “Faithwalker” Dippenaar is setting out on Monday (September 7) on his second walk across South Africa this year carrying a cross to a Mighty Men Conference.

He and Koos September and Thabo Nkosi of Mossel Bay will carry the cross 400km from Mossel Bay to the MMC Western Cape at Malmesbury which they aim to reach on September 23 on the eve of the MMC which runs from September 25 to 27.

In April Dippenaar walked 1 040km from Polokwane to Middelburg for the Karoo MMC. Describing himself as a missionary who has been walking around South Africa for two years “spreading the Rhema Word of God to the homeless, youth, elderly and prisoners”, he says God is in control and they will depend on him for food, finances and accommodation on their pilgrimage to Malmesbury.

He says people are welcome to contact them on the road at 079 027 2629 to encourage them or pray with them.

Their provisional walking schedule is:
September 7 – Gouritz
September 8 – Albertinia
September 9 and 10 – Riversdale
September 11 – Heidelberg
September 12 and 13 – Swellendam
