Gospel star M’abatho Mashaba launches Heritage Month playlist on Spotify

M’abatho Mashaba, SA’s highly acclaimed Gospel star, has announced a special edition Heritage Month playlist on Spotify. The playlist will pay tribute to the faith-based artists she admires during this special month on the South African calendar.

Artists she has featured included: Benjamin Dube, Ntokozo Mbambo and many more.

“ I compiled a list of songs that move me and have inspired my musical journey and will hopefully move you too!” says Mashaba. “These are the songs we listen to at home, at church and in my prayer groups. This month as we celebrate our Heritage, let’s remember where our faith stems and enjoy the songs that speak to that. For good measure I’ve added one of my songs too for my fans” she smiles, “the song Leshumile

M’abatho started her journey and love for music at a very early age in her home village Ga-Selala Driekop (Burgersfort) in Limpopo. She released her first album titled ‘Le Šomile’ in 2016. Thereafter followed her live album “Intimate Moments of worship” – a powerful rendition of her heart and is currently working on her Poured Out Worship album.

She has hosted worship encounters at venues in Gauteng, Mpumalanga, Limpopo, North West and many more with renowned artists such as Nceba, Mabongi, Maira, Ndivhuwo Madumba, XolaniM, Mahalia, Kgotso Makgalema, Charisma, and many more.

The singer has embarked on a journey of reaching out to the less privileged and with her project Poured Out Worship Encounter under the Jesus Outreach Drive, she presents Jesus not just in word but in deeds too. She offers a helping hand to the less privileged, affording her partners in churches and communities an opportunity to give as well.

She has taken it upon herself to perform at women and children NGOs, the Khoi and San community in Platfontein (Kimberley), less fortunate families in Letlhakaneng (North West) and Mokopane (Limpopo).
