Who are the chosen?

And Jesus answered and spoke to them again by parables and said: 2 “The kingdom of heaven is like a certain king who arranged a marriage for his son, 3 and sent out his servants to call those who were invited to the wedding; and they were not willing to come. 4 Again, he sent out other servants, saying, ‘Tell those who are invited, “See, I have prepared my dinner; my oxen and fatted cattle are killed, and all things are ready. Come to the wedding.” ’ 5 But they made light of it and went their ways, one to his own farm, another to his business. 6 And the rest seized his servants, treated them spitefully, and killed them. 7 But when the king heard about it, he was furious. And he sent out his armies, destroyed those murderers, and burned up their city. 8 Then he said to his servants, ‘The wedding is ready, but those who were invited were not worthy. 9 Therefore go into the highways, and as many as you find, invite to the wedding.’ 10 So those servants went out into the highways and gathered together all whom they found, both bad and good. And the wedding hall was filled with guests.
11 “But when the king came in to see the guests, he saw a man there who did not have on a wedding garment. 12 So he said to him, ‘Friend, how did you come in here without a wedding garment?’ And he was speechless. 13 Then the king said to the servants, ‘Bind him hand and foot, take him away, and cast him into outer darkness; there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.’
14 “For many are called, but few are chosen.” — Matthew 22:1-14

From the Scripture above we gather than many are called, or rather, everybody is called. Everybody is invited to come to Jesus. There is an open invitation. We see from this parable that at first this invitation was sent to a certain people. These people rejected the invitation and abused and killed the servants who brought it.

Thereafter, the invitation was extended to many, both good and bad. In verse 11 however, we also see that there are no shortcuts to being the chosen of the Lord, or to enter into the banquet hall. There is only one entrance, and a certain dress code, which must be followed by all who enter.

The man found without a wedding robe in Matthew 22:11-14, could not have entered through the door and hence was ignorant about the dress code. The Lord says the ones that enter through any other way, other than through Him, are thieves and robbers. And so, this man without a robe was bound and was cast out to utter darkness, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth. Because he chose not to enter LIFE, that is Jesus Christ Himself.

“Most assuredly, I say to you, he who does not enter the sheepfold by the door, but climbs up some other way, the same is a thief and a robber. 2 But he who enters by the door is the shepherd of the sheep.3 To him the doorkeeper opens, and the sheep hear his voice; and he calls his own sheep by name and leads them out. 4 And when he brings out his own sheep, he goes before them; and the sheep follow him, for they know his voice. 5 Yet they will by no means follow a stranger, but will flee from him, for they do not know the voice of strangers.” 6 Jesus used this illustration, but they did not understand the things which He spoke to them.7 Then Jesus said to them again, “Most assuredly, I say to you, I am the door of the sheep. 8 All who ever came before Me are thieves and robbers, but the sheep did not hear them. 9 I am the door. If anyone enters by Me, he will be saved, and will go in and out and find pasture.10 The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.  — John 10:1-10

The chosen ones, do not only respond to the call to come to Jesus, but they also follow His ways and His commandments. They follow protocol.

This door to LIFE is very narrow, but it has a Good Shepherd

Matthew 11:13-14 says: “Enter by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and there are many who go in by it.14 Because narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it.”

This door that is Jesus Christ is very narrow because it has to do with total obedience, total surrender, faith, submission, sufferings, etc. Just like Abraham, the chosen ones have to leave behind many things that they once held close to their hearts (Genesis 12:4).

The old things pass away, and all things become brand new. This means that when we come to Jesus, our sinful nature, our stubborn hearts, carnal minds, self-will, doubts, unforgiveness, hatred, lust of the eyes, lust of the flesh, pride of life — literally all carnal ways and thinking of men — are traded in for a surrendered life in Jesus Christ, through grace.

This door is full of sufferings, hence many refuse to enter through it — or rather, they can’t really see it, because it is narrow. However, it remains the only way to LIFE, and Jesus Himself, remains the shepherd for those who have received the grace to come in. And He, the good shepherd lays down His life for them (John 10:11-14).

The word of God says, “whilst we were still sinners, Christ died for us.” This is the way of the cross.

Church, are you the “called” or “the chosen”?

In this hour, when we are being weighed, Church of our Lord Jesus Christ, let us ask ourselves this question: are we the chosen? If not, or if we are not sure, then let us go back to the drawing board. Let us enter in through Jesus Christ, the door of life.

Let us come before the throne of grace, through the blood of Jesus and the finished work of the cross, with repentant hearts. Let’s ask the Lord to forgive us for not keeping His word of truth, and for denying His name; for not receiving His love, and therefore, being unable to give love to others as we are commanded. For trusting in the god of Mormon, for trusting in our own strength and abilities, for following the ways of man, for looking to men, instead of looking to God, for straying away from the path, and for following the teachings of Jezebel, which lead even many astray.

May the Lord forgive us for entertaining and worshipping our own flesh, for worshipping idols, for ancestral worship, for racial discrimination, for division, unrighteous judgement, for all kinds of pride and rebellion, for lacking submission, for superiority and inferiority complexes, jealousy, envy, unforgiveness, anger, all kinds of immorality, perversion, and lust.

May the Lord forgive us for rejecting the leadership of the Holy Spirit, for being led by the flesh, and for putting pressure on others to make flesh-led life-altering decisions, because we, ourselves have entertained fear and doubts in our own hearts.

May the Lord forgive us for taking His glory, for boasting in our sufferings, instead of boasting in the Lord. For being stumbling blocks for those who wanted to come in through the door, because we, ourselves have refused to follow the right way. May the Lord forgive us for neglecting the poor, the orphan, the widow, the priest and the foreigner, and for turning away from our own flesh and blood.

“What sorrow awaits you experts in religious law! For you remove the key to knowledge from the people. You don’t enter the Kingdom yourselves, and you prevent others from entering.” — Luke 11:52

May the Lord have mercy on us; forgive us for breaking covenant with Him, and with one another; for breaking the marriage covenant; for making other blood covenants, through shedding of innocent blood, in abortion and murder.

May the blood of Jesus Christ speak on our behalf now, may the Lord bring us again to divine order and alignment; and may His grace abound even more, in Jesus name. Amen.

There is a change of government

15 “This is what the Lord, the LORD of Heaven’s Armies, said to me: “Confront Shebna, the palace administrator, and give him this message:
16 “Who do you think you are, and what are you doing here,
building a beautiful tomb for yourself— a monument high up in the rock?
17 For the LORD is about to hurl you away, mighty man. He is going to grab you, 18 crumple you into a ball, and toss you away into a distant, barren land.
There you will die, and your glorious chariots will be broken and useless.
You are a disgrace to your master! “Yes, I will drive you out of office,” says the LORD. “I will pull you down from your high position. 20 And then I will call my servant Eliakim son of Hilkiah to replace you. 21 I will dress him in your royal robes and will give him your title and your authority. And he will be a father to the people of Jerusalem and Judah. 22 I will give him the key to the house of David—the highest position in the royal court. When he opens doors, no one will be able to close them; when he closes doors, no one will be able to open them. 23 He will bring honour to his family name, for I will drive him firmly in place like a nail in the wall. 24 They will give him great responsibility, and he will bring honour to even the lowliest members of his family.”
25 But the LORD of Heaven’s Armies also says: “The time will come when I will pull out the nail that seemed so firm. It will come out and fall to the ground. Everything it supports will fall with it. I, the LORD, have spoken!” Isaiah 15-25

The name Eliakim means “God raises”, “God sets up”. Because this new government that is being established, does not depend on the human strength of Eliakim, God decided to send the Risen One, Jesus Christ to be the Door to this new government. This government rests upon His shoulders, the Church. And of the increase of His government and of peace there will be no end.

As the Church continues to pray, I saw the cleansing begin in the house of the Lord. I saw the spirit of repentance fall upon the people of God. I saw those who had been tempted, and had fallen to sin, and were now held in bondage by the enemy because of this si — I saw them coming before God in deep repentance, with great remorse.

There was a change of heart, a turning away from sin, chains were broken, and eyes were opened. Babylonia’s thread of life and the grip of Jezebel and Leviathan were cut forever. Every trace of it was wiped away by the blood of Jesus, because Babylon has fallen.

Then I also saw those who have been hiding and entertaining sin for a very long time, and each time they were asked: “How do you manage to hide such sins, for such a long time?” And their response was, “It is easy, people trust me. And even if anyone knows, no one will believe them, because I am a respected person in society.” These were mature people, not youngsters. They are indeed respected people in society. The Lord said: “I would not leave these ones either, as my Spirit of revival falls upon all flesh. I am bringing new order and divine alignment. I, the Lord appoint and remove kings. Even Nebuchadnezzar, when the time came, he, himself acknowledged that I am God.”

Then I also saw Joshua, the high priest receive a new garment.

“Then the angel showed me Joshua[a] the high priest standing before the angel of the LORD. The Accuser, Satan, was there at the angel’s right hand, making accusations against Joshua. 2 And the LORD said to Satan, “I, the LORD, reject your accusations, Satan. Yes, the LORD, who has chosen Jerusalem, rebukes you. This man is like a burning stick that has been snatched from the fire.”3 Joshua’s clothing was filthy as he stood there before the angel. 4 So the angel said to the others standing there, “Take off his filthy clothes.” And turning to Joshua he said, “See, I have taken away your sins, and now I am giving you these fine new clothes.”
5 Then I said, “They should also place a clean turban on his head.” So they put a clean priestly turban on his head and dressed him in new clothes while the angel of the LORD stood by. 6 Then the angel of the LORD spoke very solemnly to Joshua and said, “This is what the LORD of Heaven’s Armies says: If you follow my ways and carefully serve me, then you will be given authority over my Temple and its courtyards. I will let you walk among these others standing here.
8 “Listen to me, O Joshua the high priest, and all you other priests. You are symbols of things to come. Soon I am going to bring my servant, the Branch. 9 Now look at the jewel I have set before Joshua, a single stone with seven facets. I will engrave an inscription on it, says the LORD of Heaven’s Armies, and I will remove the sins of this land in a single day.10 “ And on that day, says the LORD of Heaven’s Armies, each of you will invite your neighbour to sit with you peacefully under your own grapevine and fig tree.” — Zechariah 3:3-10

THE CHOSEN must enter in now and receive THE KEY

7 “And to the angel of the church in Philadelphia write: ‘The words of the holy one, the true one, who has the key of David, who opens and no one will shut, who shuts and no one opens.
8 “‘I know your works. Behold, I have set before you an open door, which no one is able to shut. I know that you have but little power, and yet you have kept my word and have not denied my name. 9 Behold, I will make those of the synagogue of Satan, who say that they are Jews and are not, but lie—behold, I will make them come and bow down before your feet, and they will learn that I have loved you. 10 Because you have kept my word about patient endurance, I will keep you from the hour of trial that is coming on the whole world, to try those who dwell on the earth. 11 I am coming soon. Hold fast what you have, so that no one may seize your crown. 12 The one who conquers, I will make him a pillar in the temple of my God. Never shall he go out of it, and I will write on him the name of my God, and the name of the city of my God, the new Jerusalem, which comes down from my God out of heaven, and my own new name. 13 He who has an ear let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches.”  –Revelation 3:7-13

The One who holds the key of David has extended His grace, and He is calling upon the “chosen ones, the sons of light” to enter the open door that now remains open before them. You ones who have kept His Word, and have not denied His name, even through suffering, trials and tribulations; Jesus himself is now giving you the key to governmental authority, so you can govern with and for Him.

He is releasing upon you more grace, more love, more power, and more wisdom to fulfil the dominion and the fruitfulness mandate that He has given you. This door is also the door of revelation. You will receive fresh revelation and insight. God is revealing what He is doing and what He is about to do, to those He has appointed and is partnering with in advancing His Kingdom on earth.

The oil of unity has been poured upon the priests

I saw the oil of unity being poured upon the shoulders of the servants of the Lord, and the Church stood up and worshipped in unison. I saw different churches join hands as they got out of the buildings to fulfil God’s mandate

How good and pleasant it is when God’s people live together in unity!
2 It is like precious oil poured on the head, running down on the beard,
running down on Aaron’s beard, down on the collar of his robe.
3 It is as if the dew of Hermon were falling on Mount Zion.
For there the LORD bestows his blessing, even life forevermore. — Psalm 133:1-3

“All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. Go, therefore, and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe everything I have commanded you” — Matt. 28:18-20.
