Healing and restoration of the nations — Vuyokazi Matu

As I sought the Lord about what is going on I have been seeing the head of Goliath is decapitated. I was led to 1 Samuel 17:41-54.

1 Samuel 17: 51 — He [David] ran to him, stood over him, took Goliath’s sword out of its sheath, and cut off his head and killed him.

The king of Babylon in the world of the dead. The Lord will give the people relief from their pain and suffering. ‘The cruel king has fallen!”(Isaiah 14:3-27).

Another confirmation was the book of Judith 14:18. “Look in there! Holofernes is lying dead on the ground and his head is gone!”

It became very clear that God is defeating our enemies. He is dealing with the Goliaths in our lives that have been tormenting us for a long time.

What Goliath has been harassing you for the longest time?
What giant has been oppressing you for the longest time?
What injustices have been implemented for the longest time?
What giants have treated people unjustly for the longest time?
What situation has been manipulating you for the longest time?
What bad choices have been made for the longest time? What little foxes have been spoiling the vine?
What corrupted seeds have been planted for the longest time?
What lies have been told? What cheating? What exploitation? What compromise?
What injustices have you endured for the longest time?
What about spiritual husbands that have delayed for so long. (Spiritual husbands are the heart issues/ strongholds hardened hearts/stumbling blocks/blind spots that delay progress until we deal with them and overcome.)

The spiritual realm is just another world completely. God sometimes shows visions of “people with authority in the spirit”, even spiritual leaders who delay people’s progress by releasing certain utterances in the atmosphere. (Long story/ long lesson for another day) This is a cruel spirit of delay. God always intervenes in His time.

Exodus 3:7-8 — ‘Then the Lord said, ‘”I have seen how cruelly my people are being treated, I have heard them cry out to be rescued from their slave-drivers. I know all about their sufferings, and so I have come down to rescue them and bring them out to a spacious land.”

Dealing with injustices
God is dealing with injustices and unfair practices. He is correcting. He is uprooting, building and planting. He is realigning, changing, resetting, releasing, renewing and reviving.

Isaiah 9:4, — “For you have broken the yoke that burdened them and the rod of the oppressor on their backs.”
Isaiah 14: 1-2  — The Lord will give the people of Israel relief from their pain and suffering.

There is deep, deep healing that it taking place right now……

There is deep healing in the nations. The is deep healing in society. There is deep healing in the Church. Far too many people have hurt each other (in the warfare-zone territories). Hurting people, hurt people.

God is restoring identity. This is His love for the people in action. He has heard the groanings of humankind and is bringing healing and justice for all.

This is a beginning of a brand new life! (Zephaniah 3:17)
You shall be called by a new name. You shall sing a new song!

No matter how things look, no matter what happens next – at the end of the day, this is the Lord’s defence, calling us out of every form of captivity!!

It is a time of justice.

Stand firm on His Word. (Psalm 9, Psalm 30, Isaiah 9).

If you know you are far from God, just change your ways. It’s time to be decisive. Don’t be delayed by looking at people’s faults. It’s your loss!!

If you already know the Lord, there is so much change to be done. Where we’ve become lukewarm, prideful and familiar with God let us make right. Let us read the Gospels again and again. Let us reintroduce ourselves afresh to the life and character traits of Jesus Christ of Nazareth and get back on track where we have lost it!!

Enjoy this time. Enjoy the process and enjoy the new life that has come!!!

It is a highway to holiness! The return from exile(Isaiah 14:1-2)

Goliath is dead! Eden is restored. It is the healing of the nations (Revelation 22).

Repentance, prayer and fasting
There is a clear call to repentance, fasting and prayer as we prepare the ground for what comes next — for us to go to God in our private and public spaces. To acknowledge sin in our lives. To turn back from what we know is against His Word. To fast — employing a spiritual weapon that does not make sense in the carnal mind but produces much fruit. Those who heed the call will benefit the most. Reaping from sowing.

When Mordecai prayed at the gate, he was able to save his nation.
When Nehemiah intentionally engaged in prayer, he was able to shift the trajectory of his nation
May the Lord use you, as the nations of the world enter their inheritance and the next generations are saved!!

A day is coming when people will sing, “I praise you, Lord! You were angry with me, but now you comfort me and are angry no longer. 2 God is my savior; I will trust him and not be afraid. The Lord gives me power and strength; he is my savior. 3 As fresh water brings joy to the thirsty, so God’s people rejoice when he saves them.” 4 A day is coming when people will sing, “Give thanks to the Lord! Call for him to help you! Tell all the nations what he has done! Tell them how great he is! 5 Sing to the Lord because of the great things he has done. Let the whole world hear the news. 6 Let everyone who lives in Zion shout and sing! Israel’s holy God is great, and he lives among his people.” — Isaiah 12: 1 – 6
