Nick Vujicic, the inspiring evangelist and best-selling author who was born without arms or legs, has signed a multi-book deal with WaterBrook Multnomah Publishing Group.
“We are thrilled with our publishing relationship with Nick Vujicic,” said Stephen W. Cobb, president and publisher of the WaterBrook Multnomah, in a statement. “Nick is an inspiration, reaching millions of people in countries that don’t often hear a message like his. We see a significant future in his ministry and are happy to be a partner in it with him.”
The Australian-born evangelist has shared his message of faith and overcoming obstacles around the world. He is the president of Life Without Limbs, a nonprofit ministry he founded in 2005 to “cross boundaries and break down barriers, to build bridges that bring people to the love and hope found in Jesus Christ,” according to the organization’s mission statement.
Vujicic is also the author of Life Without Limits: Inspiration for a Ridiculously Good Life, Unstoppable: The Incredible Power of Faith in Action and Limitless: Devotions for a Ridiculously Good Life. His books published by WaterBrook Press have been translated into 28 different languages and more than a million copies are in print today.
His next book under his current contract, which is scheduled to release Apr. 15, 2014, is titled A Bully’s Dream and will focus on Vujicic’s experiences as the victim of bullying. In the book, he will encourage young people and give them practical guidance to help them overcome challenges and make a positive impact on the world around them.
In the first book under his new contract, tentatively titled Love Without Limits, Vujicic will share stories about finding his wife, Kanae, and the birth of his son, Kiyoshi James, who was born in February of this year. The book is scheduled to be published sometime in 2015.
Vujicic is currently on a break from his 2013 World Outreach, which he has described as “one of the biggest endeavors in the history of Life Without Limbs.” He recently spoke in Japan, the Philippines, Malaysia, Cambodia and other Asian nations. He also had the opportunity to speak about God during a televised event at a soccer stadium in communist Vietnam, which one of the Vietnamese organizers of the event described as a “miracle.”
He is scheduled to begin the second leg of his World Outreach in Indonesia later this month, and will speak at several other Asian nations before moving on to South America in October. In all, Vujicic will have reached 27 nations around the world once the outreach effort is complete.
