It’s time to stand up, believe and pray

A monthly column by farmer, preacher and writer for Jesus, Angus Buchan

prayLike never before, in my entire preaching ministry, have I been so excited, so challenged and so fearful as I am at this present moment.

The Lord has given us a mandate. He says: “It’s time.” You might ask, time for what? It’s time to mend our fences, it’s time to mend the nets, it’s time to repair broken relationships, it’s time to say sorry, it’s time to say to the devil “This far and no further.” Yes, it’s time!

It’s time for the believer to stand up
I am seeing a hunger for the truth of the Word of God more and more at this moment. People are desperate for answers, because they have tried every other solution, and way, but none of them have worked. They are at the end of their tether. It’s time for the believer to stand up and show the way. Isaiah 30:21 says This is the way, walk in it.

John 4:35 says: Do you not say, ‘There are still four months and then comes the harvest’? Behold, I say to you, lift up your eyes and look at the fields, for they are already white for harvest! It’s time to reap the harvest! I don’t think you have to be a prophet to see the signs of the times. We are entering into the last days for sure.

It’s time to stop procrastinating
Joel 3:14 says: Multitudes, multitudes in the valley of decision! For the day of the Lord is near in the valley of decision. People want to know the answer and we have the answer. His name is Jesus Christ! I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me (John 14:6). So we need to stop putting things off for tomorrow. Remember “Khusasa,” as we say in Zulu means tomorrow, but we also know that the road that leads to hell is paved with good intentions. Don’t procrastinate. Don’t put off for tomorrow what you can do today. This is the day of salvation.

its timeLike never before, have I been so excited about what is coming up shortly. The Mighty Men Bushveld event will be taking place at the end of this week. Easter is coming up soon and the Mighty Men Karoo at the end of April. Then of course on April 22 we will have one million people together in one place, 4 km North of Bloemfontein for a prayer meeting. We are believing that the power of Jesus Christ is going to come down so strongly that the people might not even be able to stand. We are talking about a group of people numbering almost the same as the Israelites that were taken out of slavery in Egypt by God.

It’s time for God’s presence to come down
We are believing for the same miracle. People who are caught in the slavery of addiction, fear, distress and anxiety will be set free without anyone laying hands upon them, or anointing them with oil, but it will be the presence of God coming down upon one million praying-people that will cause the captives to be set free.

It is indeed time! I would exhort you with all my heart to make every effort to be at this meeting which will take place at Wilde Als (Wild Aloe) farm because God wants to deal with His people. He wants to set us free from slavery to the devil. The devil has got too many people in chains of depression, anger, unforgiveness, and hatred. I really believe that on April 22 the Lord will set us free and that will also cause us to be healed from physical sickness and disease. Remember: when men work, they work, but when men pray, God works.

The theme is prayer and the Scripture reference is James 5:16 (NKJV), The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man (or women) avails much.

God bless you
Angus Buchan

    Greetings uncle Angus.
I totally agree sir, that moral standards are going down the drain.
But I would like to believe there’s hope, and we as believers needs to stand up and together, in order for God to bring a positive change in our households, communities, regions and country.
I’m also busy initiating a Christian Newspaper in the Western Cape, in order to bring the Good News of the Saving Power of God into every household.
Please feel free to liaise with me to build this outreach medium.
    Be blessed.
