“I have wanted to do this for some time because the book did very well indeed around the world when it first came out, and I think it has lots of good potential to bless and encourage many others again as the new edition sees the light of day.

“Although the book is fairly autobiographical, containing my own story of quest in terms of the Person and Work of the Holy Spirit, nevertheless the biblical and theological truths round the teachings on the Spirit’s ministry in and through us are universal and applicable at any time and in any place.

“I do also feel that in the Church of South Africa, churches and believers need to seek afresh the empowering and equipping of the Holy Spirit for life and service. I so want this book to contribute to fulfilling this need.”

  1. Michael delighted you are releasing this updated version of
    BURSTING THE WINE-SKINS
How very much we NEED to follow closely the leading of the Holy Spirit today in our own lives and in our nations. As Paul wrote to the
    Ephesians in chapter 3: 20, 21
    (Living Light version)
Now glory be to God who by his mighty power and work within us is able to do far more than we ever dare to ask or even dream of – infinitely beyond our highest prayers, desires, thoughts, or hopes …..
So I pray for ‘my’ two countries – South Africa and England – that by the power of the Holy Spirit within us he will make these Nations turn and be great for Him.
