The long-awaited Karoo Mighty Men weekend has arrived and so has winter! But icy temperatures and reports of snow on the mountains will not deter the tens of thousands of men who are making for Middelburg. Let’s trust God for a mighty move in the hearts of men this weekend!
This week we reported more good news arising from a recent anti-crime prayer walk in the Northern Areas of Port Elizabeth. In the latest development about 20 members of a gang decided to turn to Jesus. And in a remarkable story from the Cape Flats we reported on how a young lecturer’s obedience to God led to a global movement of hope and transformation.
We also reported on the tragic death in a motor car accident of David Wilkerson, author of The Cross and The Switchblade and founder of World Challenge Ministries and Times Square Church. We pray for his loved ones in their time of grief and we give thanks for his more than 50 years of ministry that inspired and challenged Christians throughout the world.
In worship news we wrote about PE Burn 24-7 which is happening in Port Elizabeth next Friday. Led by passionate Burn 24-7 founder Sean Feucht this is an event that should be a must for all who have a heart for worship.
