Miracles at Matsulu Gospel crusade

People stream forward, hungry for Jesus.

Last week in Mpumalanga, South Africa, heaven touched earth.  From May 7 to 11, my team and I held a five-day crusade in the precious community of Matsulu, located around 50km from Nelspruit.  What wonders we witnessed, what salvations, miracles and deliverances!  From beginning to end, our Jesus flooded this precious community with God-encounters.

Each evening, the Gospel was preached with simple clarity.  Men and women, young and old, streamed forward to surrender their hearts to Christ.  Night after night, their eager response left us – and all of heaven – rejoicing!  Miracles followed suit, with those suffering from days to decades encountering the God who heals.  Lindiwe (31) had struggled with debilitating back pains for the past seven years.  “I couldn’t work well, I was always tired,” she said.  “During prayer, I experienced what felt like fresh air blowing against me, I felt so happy.  Now, the pain is gone!”  Sarah (78) had been reliant on crutches for many years, her legs “not working” – as she so aptly put it.  “My legs work again,” she exclaimed.  “I am free!”  Also having accepted Jesus as Saviour, Sarah left delighted.  Emma (61) sprinted up onto the stage, rejoicing.  “I have not been able to walk properly for 23 years, the pain in my legs was so terrible,” she explained.  “Now, the pain is gone!  I can even run, I am free!”  Thoko (43) was likewise jubilant.  “For 17 years, my feet have been swollen and burning.  During prayer, I felt the Holy Spirit all over me and something coming out of my body.”  She kicked her legs with glee.  “I am healed!  I can walk properly, run, or even climb a mountain!”  Phindilenkosi (49) had suffered with a troublesome left ear since birth.  She struggled to hear, the ear paining and oozing blood and puss.  “The doctors tried but could not help me,” she said.  “This is a miracle, my ear feels perfect, I am healed!”

As is our custom at In His Name Ministries, a Fire Conference was held over three mornings of the crusade week.  Consequently, while the lost were saved during the evening services, the saints were empowered for soul-winning during the morning gatherings.  After extensive teachings, we always pray for the baptism of the Holy Spirit in the final meeting.  What divine chaos resulted!  “The Spirit of God came upon me with fire and I spoke in new tongues,” expressed Linah (63).  “My life is going to change so much after this.”  Sibongile (25) was likewise filled.  “I feel the fire burning inside of me,” she expressed, overwhelmed with emotion.  Yes indeed, an army of soul-winners has been raised up to plunder hell and populate heaven.  Hallelujah!

Throughout the planning of this crusade, we took hands with over sixty churches.  These wonderful pastors are now hard at work following up the new converts.  Thank you for your prayers, may each new believer grow strong in the Lord, many destined to be the pastors and evangelists of tomorrow!  Our team continues moving forwards, our crusade calendar for the remainder of 2014 including Tzaneen (Limpopo), Makuleke (Limpopo) and Nkomazi (Mpumalanga).
