Once again, Nelson Mandela Bay will be hosting the annual Kingdom Manne Camp, with this year’s event taking place from September 14 to 16 at Dawson Farm, on the corner of Kraggakamma Rd and Lakeside Rd on the outskirts of Port Elizabeth.

Men from all denominations and churches around the Nelson Mandela Bay will gather to worship Almighty God at the event which is strictly for men.

Men are encouraged to arrive at the venue as early as possible on Friday September 14 to pitch their tents. Tents will be made available for those who wish to camp over but do not have tents. However, everyone has to bring their own bedding.

The idea of Manne Camp originally came from a group of men called KINGdom Manne who fellowshipped together. In 2014 they decided to take their fellowship to the city with the aim of encouraging men of the city to “enjoy a deeper revelation of our true identity in Christ Jesus”, said Andrew Auld, the lead organiser of the camp.

He said the organisers were praying that attendance at the camp would continue to increase as they reached their fourth year anniversary since their 2014 launch.

This masculine and Spirit-filled event will be honoured by great and well-known local speakers, pastors Afrika Mhlophe, Jay Lingelihle Jadezweni, Bhim Singh, Braam Botha, and Richard Preston.

Day visitors are encouraged to bring their Bible, sunhat, camper chair, coffee mug, headlamp and braai tongs (if you are braaing). Campere should bring a tent, bedding and, torch. There will be food vendors on site all weekend.

“What we have seen is that the camp has been a very positive and definite event — a catalyst in bringing unity among the different local churches and creating a place where men can come and experience something of this nature,” said Auld.

Men who would like to attend are asked to register online at www.kingdommanne.co.zahttp://www.kingdommanne.co.za or by emailing info@kingdommanne.co.za or by calling 082 495 2709.
