Cape Town’s community radio station, CCfm107.5, will be celebrating their Women of Wonder — Great Gospel Night Out event at the Artscape Theatre in the city centre, on National Women’s Day Wednesday August 9 2017.

“This event, which will be directed by none other than Cape Town’s own Grammy nominee and Dove Award winner, Mr Neville D, is sure to bring profound music of hope to the City of Hope.

We are honoured that this well-loved artist is willing to step behind the scenes to help make the night a memorable musical achievement for the city of Cape Town,” says Nurden Cross, CCfm’s station manager and producer of the show.

Cross says: “We are excited to bring this event to Cape Town’s Artscape Theatre. Our plan is for The Great Gospel Night Out to become an annual event on CCfm’s calendar and, since this year’s event takes place on Woman’s Day, we’ve decided to celebrate with the theme, Woman of Wonder, and feature top female gospel artists including; Rouchelle Liedemann, Geraldine Adams, Alana Wessels, Julanie J, Zux Tshona, Kaylee Syce, Elwira Standili, Kathryn Swain, KingSli Tshona”.

Each artist will not only sing their own original great songs made popular by CCfm, but will also be covering some legendary international gospel songs too. A listener survey currently being conducted amongst CCfm’s  listeners, will help craft the night’s playlist, says CCfm.

Tickets are  on sale at all Computicket outlets, with prices of R100, R150 and R250.
