Blow the trumpet in Zion, And sound an alarm in My holy mountain!…. Blow the trumpet in Zion, Consecrate a fast,…..Call a sacred assembly; — Joel 2:1a & 15 a

Christians in more than 36 nations have responded to a trumpet call to humble themselves before God and rise up in authority against the spirit of violence worldwide during a three-day campaign of 24-7 prayer and fasting from July 10 to Sunday 12.

See the video below in which Dr Suzette Hattingh of Voice In The City shares how the Holy Spirit led her to mobilise prayer warriors around the world despite her initial desire to look away and do nothing when she received a video “about yet another brutal attack and act of violence”.

In South Africa a number of prayer networks and ministries are participating in the Trumpet Call. You can join the prayer action with your community or book a slot in the 24/7 prayer room by clicking on this link

Prayer points, which cover farm murders, gender-based violence, abortion, violent crime, sexual violence and divorce can be downloaded here

Christians are also invited to join a Zoom conference at 4pm (SA time) on Friday to launch the Trumpet Call  (ID 815 8689 9855) and another Zoom meeting at 4pm on Sunday July 12 (ID 568 651 652 / password: Fhdc).

Excellent article! Thank you! May many of our NMB Prayer Warriors and Intercessors respond to this call for prayer!

  2. How do I find the 24/7 prayer rooms. I cannot find the prayers. Only a recording. Where is the live broadcast.
