Pro-life demonstrations to mark 20th anniversary of abortion on demand

African Christian Action pro-life march to parliament in Cape Town on Wednesday February 1, the 20th anniversary of the legalisation of abortion on demand in South Africa.

Responding to the 20th anniversary of legalised abortion on demand in South Africa on February 1 2017, Christian pro-life activists have arranged demonstrations around the country on or close to that date.

In Cape Town, Africa Christian Action held a march to parliament and a placard protest outside the gates of parliament on Wednesday February 1.

In East London a placard protests is planned for Saturday February 4 from 11am to 12pm at the corner of Oxford Street and St Mathew’s Road. Contact Frans van Aardt at 082 774 6649 for more information.

In Pretoria a life chain will take place on the corner of Steve Biko and Park Streets on Saturday February 25 from 12am to 2pm. The National Alliance for Life-Gauteng is also hosting a pro-life conference in Pretoria on the morning of February 25 2017 to which all interested people are invited.

Africa Christian Action reports that since the passing of the Termination of Pregnancy Act against the will of most South Africans, 1 400 000 babies have lost their lives through abortion, legally, with taxpayers’ money.
