Gospel singer Sibongile Sibeko is due to release her second music video, Bambelela (Hold On) today (June 7, 2013).

The award winning artist wrote Bambelela with her producer Danny Antill, as a message of hope for young and old in difficult times, reports Brettian Productions. The video is hot on the heels of Sibongile’s debut album release, In His Time, which hit shelves in March this year.

Bambelela was filmed in a room with black and white newspaper covered walls, contrasted by a colorful celebration of people singing and dancing together. This symbolizes the hope we have in God even when we are surrounded by bad news and trials. The concept was developed by the Brettian Productions’ video department and the video was directed by Danny Antill.

Says Sibeko: “The most special part of this video for me was including my precious little boy, Sibusiso. After 10 years of struggling to fall pregnant, he was given to me. Holding on through that time of waiting wasn’t easy, but it was worth it.”

Bambelela will debut on various TV channels and programmes from today. The radio track has already aired on South African community, commercial and public radio stations.
