The Transformation Africa Youth Day in Cape Town on June 16 will include a Leaders Conference and an Igniting The Fire Conference.

High profile Christians from various walks of life will be joining hands and sharing a platform to mark Youth Day on June 16, 2014, at His People church at N1 City in Cape Town. These include the likes of Transformation Africa (TA) founder, Pastor Barry Isaacs; Graham Power, Executive Chairman of the Power Group and founder of Unashamedly Ethical; Errol Naidoo,  Director of the Family Policy Institute;  Costa Mitchell, National Director of the Association of Vineyard Churches in South Africa; Youth Transformation Cape Town’s Kyle Driver and others.

TA serves as an umbrella organisation for various ministries. Its Youth ministry, Youth Transformation Africa (YTA), is a non-denominational network that seeks to impact young people with the gospel of Jesus Christ in Cape Town and to foster unity in the faith amongst Churches.

Life-changing Gospel
An invitation distributed by Transformation Africa to various churches and organisations says that the programme developed for the day is geared towards presenting the “Good News of the Gospel in a dynamic, creative and exciting way” with the hope that it will have a life changing effect. It is targeted at youth groups, dance ministries, school groups, sports groups or any other youth.

The Youth Day event will begin with a Leaders Conference from 9am until 3pm:  seats for these sessions need to be reserved. The conference will aim to address the changes in society and challenges that the youth are faced with in this current generation; and will focus on creating an opportunity for the older generation to impart their wisdom and experiences with regard to their respective fields of expertise to emerging leaders, irrespective of age. It will include interactive workshops to facilitate discussion.

This will be followed by an Igniting the Fire Conference at 5pm featuring, among others, the Kurt Doggen Band along with the His People Hero Band, as well as guest speakers. It will celebrate the youth of all colours, creed, cultures and denominations with dynamic praise and worship, and dance across all genres. It is YTA’s desire that South Africa, as a nation, be transformed and yielded to God in the belief that this transformation will come by an uncompromising youth that will stand firmly for Holiness.

Anyone wishing to attend the Leaders Conference should sms the word “Leader” followed by their name and email address to 41684.
