WATCH: The ‘Jesus Slide’ world quarantine dance video

The Jesus Slide 2020 World Quarantine Dance Video was created by Grace Covington, a Christian singer and songwriter from the United States, features dancers from all over the world including Johannesburg and Mthatha in South Africa.

The dancers were discovered by Covington on the social media platform TikTok. Each dancer recorded their video while practicing social distancing in their respective country and submitted their part to be edited.

Covid-19, social distancing, and closed churches could not stop these dancers from praising the Lord. Diversity wins in this video, as it showcases that no matter your age, gender, nationality, or disability, the Jesus Slide is for you. Grace feels honored that the Gospel of Jesus Christ is being spread around the world through song and dance.
