Week two of Gateway News

We are nearing the end of the second week since we launched Gateway News. We have had a great time meeting a variety of Christian newsmakers in Port Elizabeth and continue to rejoice in the positive response we are receiving to this new publication. Thank you to all of you who have registered online to receive this weekly newsletter. Please spread the word and help us to spread the Christian news far and wide. This week we took the decision that Gateway News will publish stories in both English and Afrikaans. So far, our total Afrikaans content reads “Genoeg is genoeg“. But we assure our Afrikaans readers that you will soon be able to read articles in your home language. Where the opportunity arises we will publish certain articles in both English and Afrikaans.

Some of our memorable stories in the past week were:

• “Genoeg is genoeg” the rap song that is sparking hope in poverty-stricken and gang-ridden Helenvale;
• 15 ways for churches to help schools: a challenge to churches in these times of educational crisis;

• Back to school with Team Impact: super athletes sharing their testimony and the Gospel at local schools. Team Impact also feature in our Quote of the week!
