Youth leadership developent expert visiting SA to serve local churches

Tim Hawkins, one of the world’s most experienced youth pastors, is visiting SA to minister to local churches.

One of the world’s most experienced youth pastors, Australian Tim Hawkins, will be in South Africa in September to equip local churches and organisations throughout the country.

Youth pastor, evangelist, international speaker and author Hawkins, will be in South Africa from September 1 to September 14 at the invitation of the South African Theological Seminary (SATS), which decided to invite a speaker and send him out into the Christian community, rather than hosting its usual annual SATS conference.

Hawkins has been a full-time local-church youth pastor for over 34 years and is currently the Youth Pastor Emeritus at St
Paul’s Castle Hill, in Sydney Australia. He is a professional leadership coach, international speaker, seasoned preacher, and
author of many leadership and youth ministry resources. Tim’s books are used as training manuals in bible colleges all
around the world. His latest book is “Fruit that Lasts”.

He brings a wealth of experience in the areas of training youth leaders, preachers and speakers, speaking to youth and developing leadership.

“We are offering Tim’s service to whichever organisation would like to make use of his skills in their local churches in groups or one-on-one sessions, or seminars. Tim is passionate and available to minister to our local churches,” said SATS Projects Director Jenny Mason. She can be contacted at 011 061 042 or jenny@sats.edu.za for further information on making use of Hawkins’ expertise.
