“I can’t wait to worship with Port Elizabeth, South Africa on July 23!” posted contemporary, Christian singer/songwriter Kari Jobe on her Face Book page last week.

The award winning songbird and her team will visit 4 major cities in South Africa during her tour in July, with Port Elizabeth as her first stop. Johannesburg will host her on July 25.

Due to popular demand, the Durban event has been extended to include another worship concert. The first event will still take place on Saturday, July 26 at 19:00 but with tickets selling fast, a second event has been added to the Grace Family Church venue, in Umhlanga for 16:00.

After Western Cape fans had taken to social media, urging organisers to include another worship concert in their region, a second event was added to the Cape Town tour as well. The Cape Town events will run on July 28 and 29.

The “A Night of Worship with Kari Jobe” general tickets cost R190 and special premium tickets are sold at R240.

“Premium ticket holders gain access to the auditorium earlier than general ticket holders,” explains representative, Katia Beattie of Vision Ministries. “It gives them access to a specific premium seating area.” Seating within the premium area will then be unreserved for ticket holders. The premium ticket also gives fans access to a special ‘Q&A’ session with Kari, before the general admission doors open. “During this time, Kari will share some of the stories behind the songs and people will have an opportunity to ask some questions,” Katia explains.

Due to the high demand for tickets, fans are urged to make their purchases as soon as possible, since there is a limited number of premium seats available.

Tickets will not be sold at the door and are available at www.itickets.co.za or by contacting the call centre at 086 1000 291. Payments can be made via EFT and cash deposit.

The city venues are Word of Faith Christian Centre in Port Elizabeth, New Life Church in Johannesburg, Grace Family Church in Durban and Hillsong Church in Cape Town.

More information about the worship nights can also be found on the events’ Face Book page.
