Elijah Scroll handed over from Cape Town to Jerusalem

Martie Nel of Beit Chai mission house in Jerusalem on top of Table Mountain virtually hands over the Elijah Scroll to Rick Ridings at Succat Hallel 24/7 House of Prayer in Jerusalem

A journey that started in Bloemfontein in May last year at the end of Passover when a prophetic scroll was handed to two walkers-for-Jesus on their way to Cape Town, and continued when the scroll was opened on Table Mountain on Pentecost Sunday last year, was completed on Table Mountain last week when the message of the scroll was released to Jerusalem.

Prophetic, governmental and apostolic leaders on the top of the mountain, dancers and worshipers on a road at a lower level of the mountain, Rick Ridings at the Succat Hallel 24/7-House of Prayer in Jerusalem, as well as prayer leaders and intercessors in SA and various nations of the world who connected via Zoom, joined in the event on March 18 during the Feast of Purim which commemorates the saving of the Jewish people from the wicked plot of Haman.

The scroll carries a message about revival and the return of Jesus linked to Malachi 4:5,6 —
4 “Remember [with thoughtful concern] the Law of Moses My servant, the statutes and the ordinances which I commanded him on [Mount] Horeb [to give] to all Israel. 5 “Behold, I am going to send you Elijah the prophet before the coming of the great and terrible day of the Lord. 6 He will turn the hearts of the fathers to their children, and the hearts of the children to their fathers [a reconciliation produced by repentance], so that I will not come and strike the land with a curse [of complete destruction].” (Amplified version)

Members of the team who danced, prayed and prophesied on a road on Table Mountain during the event

Arthur and Michelle Coetzee of Global Harvest who opened the scroll in Cape Town last May led the start of the event on the mountaintop and Arthur welcomed Andre Venter of House of Bread in Bloemfontein who originally received the prophetic word on the scroll.

Martie Nel of Beit Chai ministry house in Jerusalem released the scroll from the top of Table Mountain to Rick Ridings in Jerusalem who had prepared by lighting the menorah, sounding the shofar, praying Jeremiah 6:16-17 and leading the international virtual gathering in prayers of repentance.

After the ministry partners in various locations prayed prayers of repentance and prayers based on key Scriptures, intercessors on the mountain led the meeting in prayer declarations aligning with God’s purposes on earth and the return of Jesus Christ.

Later the teams from the top and lower level of the mountain met on the ground for a time of prayer and thanksgiving.
