Mighty Men Jeffreys Bay programme confirmed

With the big day drawing ever nearer, excitement keeps building for the next Mighty Men Jeffreys Bay conference scheduled to take place at the farm Mooi Uitsig from March 18 to 20.

At the time of writing this article, the organising committee confirmed that a limited number of allocated tickets were still available for purchase on their website. All of the guest speakers, along with the praise and worship band have been confirmed. 

The organiser’s attentions have now moved to dotting the i’s and crossing the t’s as final preparations take shape.

The impressive weekend programme includes some amazing guests. The praise and worship band is the talented Midpoint Worship.

The organising committee’s very own Eugene Genis will take to the stage at 6pm on the Friday evening. Eugene has been a guest speaker at a number of Mighty Men conferences across South Africa. Definitely not a session anyone who plans on attending would want to miss!

Martin Douglas, a long-serving Mighty Men organising committee member, and radio DJ for Link FM 97.1, will kick off proceedings early (6am) on the Saturday morning by sharing his own incredible testimony of salvation. He will also lead the Holy Communion.

Zane Meas will head up the Saturday morning speaker session at 10am He is probably best known for his role as “Neville Meintjies” in the hit Afrikaans soap, 7de Laan. Zane is also the founder of the Fatherhood Foundation which he started in 2008.

Saturday evening’s 5pm session will see guest speaker Neil Armstrong, a self-proclaimed “gangster saved by Grace” take to the stage. His incredible story of redemption against all odds will leave you speechless with wonder.

Sunday morning’s final guest speaker session, scheduled to start at 10am, will see evangelist Johnny Louw return to the Mighty Men stage.

Sunday’s session would, under normal circumstances, be a “family” day where women and the rest of the family join the guys. This year, due to the restrictions on the number of people allowed to gather, only male ticket holders will be allowed into the venue. Should the current restrictions be eased prior to the conference this may change. Unfortunately uncle Angus Buchan will not be able to attend this year’s conference, however Angus shared a special video on Social Media recently, urging men to come and enjoy the Jeffreys Bay conference. He stated that attendance should not be based on the guest speaker lineup as it’s all about God and not about who is standing up on the stage. Most guys who have attended a Mighty Men conference will attest to the same.
