Harvest Christian School is located in Walmer, Port Elizabeth, serving children from Pre-School through to Matric. The school was established in 1987 and has a current total enrolment of 485 children pupils. The school exists to serve the Christian family with whom we partner to train and disciple young people in a biblical worldview for growth, excellence and influence.
Due to the current needs of the High School, a suitably qualified person, who would be totally in empathy with the ethos of the school, is required for the following Leadership position from the 1 January 2014:
Deputy Head (High School)
The successful applicants will need :
- To have experience in a leadership position in a High School.
- To have an appropriate university degree and professional qualification. IEB teaching experience is essential.
- Candidates should be in possession of a S.A.C.E. registration certificate or be eligible for registration.
- Candidates must be prepared to be involved in all areas of school life.
- To be fully committed and practising Christians, involved in their local church.
We seek dynamic, creative staff with strong interpersonal skills, a living faith and a willingness to participate fully in the life of the School.

St Nicholas Anglican Church, Port Elizabeth, requires a Pastoral Assistant who is proactive, confident and a mature communicator for a mornings only contract position. The successful candidate will be expected to be computer literate and able to conduct frontline office and administrative duties, manage internal and external communications as well as be responsible for visitor, growth and retention strategies.
The successful candidate must have a drivers license, own reliable transport, cell phone and relevant working experience. Advantageous working experience includes administrative, marketing and communication background and having worked with and in a team. Love for Jesus Christ and passion for Kingdom Building is essential.
Working hours: Tuesday – Friday from 08h30 – 12h30 and Sundays from 08h30 – 11h30.
