Stella releases new single: ‘Set Our Hearts On You’

Universal Artist, Stella brings you a brand new, fresh song from the depths of her being.

Set our hearts on You was written during lockdown when everything in this world was uncertain and scary.

Stella started asking God to show her His character and when He did, she was blown away by what she learned. As she mentions the different names of God in this song, one feels the trust and confidence building up to dare to trust and believe Him for who He says He is.

By setting our hearts on Him, we become part of a different economy and kingdom to the world we live in and this changes our perspective. Suddenly we become strong and courageous like a Joshua of old, even though the reality around us is scary.

Stella challenges us to just set our hearts on Him.

“I pray that when you listen to this song, and even sing along, God will let the truth about His character rest in your heart as it rests in mine!” adds Stella.

Stella needs no introduction to the music industry. She is well-known to the public for accompanying Louis Brittz on stage for the past decade. People also know her as the female lead in the well-proclaimed DuisLig, who received the prestigious Ghoema Award for Best Gospel Album both in 2015 and 2017. They were also nominated for two Huisgenoot Tempo Awards.

Stella previously also released solo albums under her then stagename, KrissTel and received nominations for two SAMA Awards as well as a Huisgenoot Tempo Award.

She has recently teamed up with Universal Music and she is fortunate to have a label who understands her heart.

And Stella has a heart for worship. After releasing her first album with Universal, Stella is bringing hope with this new single. From the first notes in her beautiful voice, right to the end, Stella captivates your heart simply by truly believing in what she is singing.

Stella is a woman of many talents and has a lot on her plate. When she is not busy being a musician and singer, she is a farmer’s wife in Carolina and mother to two beautiful little girls. Furthermore, she is also the co-owner of their guesthouse and wedding venue, Acorn Guest Farm.

Over the years, the music industry taught Stella to be patient and to surround herself with the right team of people. She had to overcome many obstacles in both her private and professional life, and therefore it is important to her to focus on a happy and healthy lifestyle for her and her family.

All she wants to inspire people to do now is “Set our hearts on You”. For within doing this lays all the answers.
