Divine Restoration Ministries, Bloemfontein organised a non-denominational event called City Revival at the Castle Deck, Free State Rugby Stadium on October 25.

God called His sons and daughters to rise up and demonstrate His love and power to this generation. The Body of Christ gathered in large numbers to celebrate and proclaim that Bloemfontein belongs to Jesus. Many were saved and healed through the power of the Holy Spirit.

Prophet Yao, in his preaching, shared the importance of sons rising to take their place in the community, demonstrating the power of God.

He said that humanity lost its essence as the image of God due to the fall. Adam had a son, who reflected Adam’s own image and likeness — now tainted by sin (Genesis 5:3). Humanity was condemned to sin and bound to Hell, lost its connection with God, but not its domination or capacity for fruitfulness — instead, the divine presence was removed.

He said God sent His Son to die on the cross for the forgiveness of sins and to liberate us from our sinful nature. Those who believe in Christ are reborn in His image and become sons of God, created in His image and likeness. As sons, we possess the fullness of God in us and are called to represent the Father on Earth. We are now the light of the world, tasked with reconciling people to the Father.

“For the earnest expectation of the creation eagerly waits for the revealing of the sons of God.”

Next year’s City Revival is planned to take place inside the rugby stadium. You are invited to be part of the movement that will bring the presence of God in Bloemfontein.
