Amanda Cook touring SA in September

Amanda Cook

Award-winning singer, songwriter and contemporary Christian artist Amanda Cook will be heading up three nights of worship in South Africa in September.

Her “Worship Works Wonders” tour will include Johannesburg on September 19, Cape Town on September 20 and Durban on September 21.

During the tour, which is presented by Healing to Live Events, Amanda will offer audiences her signature blend of stillness and musical artistry, says Keela Communications in a press release. “Known for her anthems with Bethel Music like Pieces, Mercy, and the Dove Award-winning You Make Me Brave, Cook’s tour promises a unique space for reflection amid life’s noise. “

Amanda, who is based in Los Angeles, has released several albums that explore the intersections of faith/doubt, love/loss, hope/despair and fun/notfun. She makes music under a few monikers (Amanda Cook, Falcon, Survey). She enjoys writing songs that feel helpful, healing and read like a poem with or without sound.

Her latest album, Survey: Part 2, Live at St. John at Hackney (Live), released on February 7 2025, captures her powerful worship in a historic London church. The live recording features fresh renditions of fan favourites like You Make Me Brave and Extravagant, alongside new tracks including New King and Shalom. The 11-track album is available on all major streaming platforms.
