Amazing opportunity to Discover Cambodia with well-established missionary organisation

Map of Cambodia in the Southeast Asian region

Reaching Cambodia for Christ for over 50 years

For the past 52 years, the mission of Cambodia Action has been to reach Cambodia for Christ, by transforming Cambodian lives whether in-country or abroad among displaced communities during the troubled times of civil war and the most recent regional conflict, in efforts to establish reconciliation, peace and rebuild families and the church in the nation.

Since the brutal regime of Pol Pot in the mid-seventies, the nation of Cambodia has walked a long way to healing and freedom emerging as one of the fastest-growing economies of Southeast Asia. As a mission organisation, Cambodia Action, was one of the first Christian organisations permitted to operate in-country since 1992 when we responded to the great need by helping with food security and primary health care through mobile health clinics.  With Cambodia being over 90% Buddhist in religious practice, we have remained a single country focussed mission, introducing the Kingdom of God to Cambodians. This we do through valuable locally grown partnerships and dedicated foreign missionaries who serve in the field.

Cambodia Action 2025 Partner report

Serving vulnerable women and children

Currently we have seven established partnerships working tirelessly among those who are vulnerable, marginalised or exposed to the multiple dangers of modern-day slavery and human trafficking. Our work is very much hands-on work ministering to children and communities living at dump sites, graveyards and slums. We help young women escape the trap of abuse and the pressures of unplanned pregnancy by providing counselling and practical care so mothers do not terminate the life of their unborn babies. Along the years, we have rescued many vulnerable children placing them in godly homes, giving them an opportunity of education and family life, especially abandoned children and those whose parents are imprisoned.

We have much favour with Government and open doors to minister into prisons, high schools, governmental departments to bring the Gospel of Jesus Christ without hesitation or restrictions. Cambodia is an open country with many opportunities to serve in different sectors. There is freedom of religious expression and while this window of opportunity remains open so does our commitment.
