Christian Women Business Conference: Rise, let’s go from Here

The annual Christian Women in Business Network (CWBN) Conference will take place virtually on April 16 and 17.

“The theme for this year’s conference is: ‘Rise, let’s go from here’ and emphasises the importance of gaining our space in the marketplace with authenticity and boldly applying our skills, talents and passions, not to conform but to confidently change and own the marketplace,” says Kea Modise-Moloto — director of CWBN.

The CWB Network has gained a global footprint since the inception of lockdown and welcomes this international community following an unprecedented 2020. The 3rd annual conference aims to remind women that their business ideas, dreams, skills and talents are still valid in spite of 2020, Covid-19 or lockdown.

“We will inspire, encourage and enlighten delegates, business and career women to face and take charge of the changing environment and marketplace,” adds Kea.

Ticket prices have been kept at a minimum in order to offer as many women as possible the opportunity to benefit from world-class speakers, business leaders and industry experts.

Speakers will cover important economic and business trends, themes, critical business issues and demands in line with the 4th Industrial Revolution. They will also discuss methods of conducting business in a new way beyond Covid-19.

Tickets are R100 per day and are available via Quicket. The first hundred ladies who book will each receive a goodie bag, delivered to their door, valued at over R250.

Over and above developing and empowering women in business, the CWBN Conference also benefits the Bontlebame Girls of Hope Programme which focuses on the empowerment of teen girls from disadvantaged communities by providing mentorship and coaching with a special focus on entrepreneurship, skills development and self-actualisation.

“We look forward to connecting with women from across South Africa and abroad to empower, support, network, encourage and inspire them towards flourishing spiritual and business lives,” concludes Kea.
