Scripture:
Exodus 34:13 — “Break down their altars, smash their sacred stones and cut down their Asherah poles. Do not worship any other god, for the Lord, whose name is Jealous is a jealous God.”
Prayer:
Lord, we repent for worshipping mammon, power, and greed, and for allowing the fear of man to rule our hearts. Forgive us for every wicked altar raised to gain influence and favour. May our prayers rise before You like incense, and the lifting of our hands be as the evening sacrifice. Let corporate worship, prayer, and praise arise from city streets, community halls, highways, and byways throughout this land. Proclamation:
We Proclaim the Lord most High is richly to be praised, we raise our shouts of praise to the Lord of Heaven and Earth! Your name is a strong tower and the righteous run into it.
