Scripture:
Romans 12:1 — “I beseech You therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present Your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is Your reasonable service.”
Prayer:
Lord, we surrender our opinions, loyalties, frustrations, and hopes to You, asking for wisdom to participate responsibly, vote wisely and pray with Godly insight. Your word has much to say about wise advisors and counsel: may we be a people who heed Your counsel and lean not on our own understanding. In You are all wisdom and understanding, we surrender to Your counsel in Jesus’ name.
Proclamation:
We proclaim that our citizenship is in heaven and we will honour God with our decisions and serve our neighbours, we lean on Your wisdom, bringing Glory to God. The Kingdom of Heaven is advancing in our municipalities.
