Don’t grow weary– Angus Buchan

Galatians 6:9 (NKJV) —“9 And let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart.”

Everywhere I go at the moment, I sense that people are weary and tired and they don’t even know why they are weary or tired. It’s not by overworking or anything, it’s just a spirit of heaviness which is all over the world. I am getting lots of feedback from contacts overseas and it’s the same thing, everybody is weary. Now the Lord says very clearly, if you do not grow weary, in due season you will reap if you do not lose heart.

I want to tell you as a farmer, about some of the worst crops that I’ve ever planted — in other words, I have planted them in times of drought when there has been minimal rain. I have kept on tending these crops, making sure there are no weeds, making sure there are no insects eating them. I have faithfully tended these crops, even if when they didn’t look like much and eventually the rain did come, because as we both know “every drought ends with rain”. And then the crop comes to life, because the root structure is there, even though the plant looks stunted.

There are others who give up, they just see the rain is not coming, the crop is looking tired and is going grey and they just put the plough in and leave it. But you know, even though we who didn’t give up don’t get a bumper crop, what happens is there is a tremendous shortage in the country of that particular commodity. And so the price soars and we end up sometimes making more profit with a crop like that, than a crop that we plant in a very blessed year, where there is lots of rain, lots of heat units, but everybody else has also got a beautiful crop which causes the price to plummet to virtually zero, and you can hardly get anything for your produce.

So it is in the Kingdom, if we continue to walk faithfully with the Lord, do what He has told us to do, in the end we will succeed.

May God bless you as you discipline yourself to exercise physically, mentally and most of all spiritually, having good quiet times, getting yourself ready for the great revival that is about to come.

Jesus bless you
