Music lovers in Port Elizabeth can look forward to hearing some of the Eastern Cape’s best gospel jazz artists and bands in action at ‘The Gospel According to Jazz Chapter 1’ at Word of Faith Christian Centre on September 21.
This first edition concert is being held to raise support for Project Hope, a Word of Faith Christian Centre children’s ministry that serves a weekly nutritional meal to children, provides clothing to kids and their extended families, and is engaged in a range of interventions to bring hope and restoration to children and families in crisis, says event coordinator, Shaun Draai.
The exciting lineup at the gospel jazz evening includes Creshwell October (launches at the PE Opera
House, October 12), Mano and Ricochet, MoJazz, Gino Soul, Free2Dance and more.
