Christian early teen media group, iShine, is soon releasing three new music albums which will be available in an all-new format known as MVP (Music, Video, Purpose).
The MVP format comprises a DVD which includes 10 new songs, 10 music videos, 10 video song explanations, inspiring interviews, as well as an episode of the television programme iShine KNECT, featuring the artists. The MVPs will also provide a link to download the music files for use on CDs, iPods and various other multimedia gadgets.
The three new albums which will be released are from artists Mission Six, The Rubyz, and Jonnie & Brookie.
According to Brad Mathias, President of Bema Media/iShine Live, they are excited to launch a completely new iShine product line for Christian music and media, along with Provident-Integrity Distribution, their distribution partner. “MVP is a brand concept that iShine has created to fuse the heart of our ministry and the art of our music and creativity into an entertaining and relevant pre-teen and teen product line”, says Mathias.
“MVP is designed to appeal to both the fans who love our iShine artists and the millions of Christian parents and pastors who are desperate to find wholesome Biblically-based resources they can trust.”
Shock Wave is popular teen band Mission Six’s third album. Since debuting in 2008, this former “boy” band has matured and transformed into increasingly trendy rock stars, with a repertoire of hundreds of concerts, television appearances and radio airplay to their name, their sound being compared to the likes of Relient K and the Jonas Brothers.
Teen duo The Rubyz feature new songs on their latest and third album, Reflection, as well as their unique take on some older, familiar worship songs. Likened to teen pop and Disney channel princesses Selena Gomez and Demi Lovato, The Rubyz have also been extensively involved with iShine over the past few years, having performed on the nationwide iShineLIVE Tour, co-starring on iShine KNECT and receiving worldwide radio airplay.
Love is Calling is the latest album from teen sister pop/rock duo, Jonnie & Brookie, who write their own songs and play guitar and bass. The girls, who have been performing across the United States for years, won Radio Disney’s “Next Big Thing” and have also toured with iShineLIVE and been the opening act for bands Everlife and the Jonas Brothers.
