‘Jonah 3’ national reconciliation tour launched in Western Cape

A nationwide tour to draw attention to a national restoration project, kicked off in the Western Cape earlier this month, says the project visionary Erna Goedhart.

The so-called “Jonah 3” tour was launched on Elohim’s Farm, Paarl at 3pm on April 8 and continued on Sonshine Estate in Atlantis, Cape Town, said Erna who leads the Unity Corporation which she founded in 1998 to develop a comprehensive reconciliation strategy that she believes God gave her. The goal of the plan is to help people identify issues and get healing on every level of their existence to enable them to walk in their calling.

At Elohim’s Farm, the farmer, Daniel Briers, who is passionate about restoration and the establishment of the Kingdom of God on Earth, accepted the call to partner with the Jonah 3 tour.

“The unity in Christ permeated the event on Elohim’s Farm quite significantly, and it was clear that God was about to do something great, starting with the First Nation people, the Elders in the country, who serve a very deep purpose in the restoration of South Africa,” says Erna.

At the event she shared some background on her focus on national reconciliation which goes back 25 years and explained the reconciliation strategy God gave her. She also fulfilled one of her main objectives for the day by symbolically handing over the project as a gift to a descendant of a Khoi chief, Princess Laine Thomas, and her husband Pastor Wayne. Laine is a descendant of Rosetta Klapmuts, who has been dubbed the Mother of Mamre, the second Moravian mission station after Genadendal, that was started by pioneer missionary Georg Schmidt.

After hours of sharing, praying, confessing and partaking in Holy Communion, the meeting was concluded by Daniel Briers, lighting a fire as a prophetic action signaling the start of revival fires that will burn throughout Africa. Then a shofar was blown 12 times in four directions. Erna asked Daniel and his son to open the farm gate, for the attendees to walk through with the Unity Corporation flag representing that the farm gates will again open and that all of South Africa will be restored, from the farmers, to the workers, the First Nation people and all those referred to in Romans 10:13 — For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved”.

During the meeting, Erna was invited to attend a gathering on Sonshine Estate, which is owned by Pastor Wayne and Princess Laine Thomas, to launch the first hub of Hope Through Unity. A number of pastors and Christian leaders, including Pastor Barry Isaacs, chair of Concerned Clergy of the Western Cape, attended.

After sharing about what God has instructed her to do through the Unity project, Erna asked for a volunteer to take up the Unity flag on behalf of the meeting participants. Pastor Barry Isaacs took up the flag and HC Nicholas Heynes blew a shofar decreeing a blessing over the project.

Erna says: “These two events were a good start to what we believe will be one of the greatest moves of restoration and revival in this nation. The Jonah 3 tour, will include other places in the Western Cape, the West Coast, Bloemfontein, Northern Cape, Gauteng, the northern parts of Limpopo via Polokwane, down the coast to Durban, Umtata and then back to East London.

“If you are a farmer, pastor, spiritual or community leader or anyone who can see and recognise that this is a true move of God, please contact me to come and bless you with this message of comfort and hope according to Isaiah 40. This nation needs people to rise up and come out of the shadows, stand up and be counted so that the revival fires of unity burn high and restore this nation to what God intended her to be.”
