Joshua Aaron performing in SA in March 2023

Award-winning Messianic Jewish songwriter Joshua Aaron will be singing in Cape Town and Pretoria in March next year.

Known for his beautiful praise and worship sessions in the Tower of David in Jerusalem. He is also famous for singing The Blessing (Kari Jobe) in Hebrew. This song — and this particular Hebrew version — deeply touched both believers and non believers globally during the Covid Pandemic.

Joshua and his wife, Jeannie, have four children (Emma, Joshie, Max and Levi) and are citizens of both Israeland the United State.

Since the release of his first live CD, Bo Yeshua (2009) Joshua’s music has grown to an international level, with as many as 22 million YouTube views of his music videos. His 2012 release You Are Holy won him two Independent Music Awards for his original songs.

Joshua continues to powerfully connect both the Church and Israel through music. He travels full time, sharing God’s good news through Hebraic worship, powerful testimony and biblical teaching… proclaiming a message of hope in Yeshua (Jesus), a love for the Jewish people and a desire for the return of the Messiah.

Hebrew People, a ministry based in Jerusalem, is bringing Joshua to South Africa in March and Nuelight, the events company of Julita Kok, whose travels have been shared in Gateway News over the past three years, is the events coordinator for the tour.

Tiaan Nel from Hebrew people will speak at Joshua’s events. The son of the late Gerhard Nel and Martie Nel (still living in Jerusalem), Tiaan was brought up as an Afrikaans boy in Jerusalem, where he attended a Hebrew school. A fluent Hebrew speaker he has an amazing understanding of the Scriptures from a Hebrew perspective.

“This promises to be such an interesting event in both locations and those who love Israel, will enjoy the mixture of Hebrew, English and Afrikaans,” says Julita.

Joshua’s performance will be in Cape Town on March 18 and in Pretoria on March 20. Tickets are avaialble through iTickets.
