Creatives, worshipers, and visionaries from across the Eastern Cape and beyond are invited to gather at the “Year of the Harvest” Creative Arts Conference, from July 18 – 19 at Harvest Christian Church, Gqeberha (Port Elizabeth).

Organised by Recreate — an artist group under the spiritual covering of Harvest Christian Church — this two-day conference invites participants to explore and express their God-given creativity in a powerful atmosphere of worship, prophetic inspiration, and community.

“This is more than a conference; it’s a movement of Kingdom creatives reclaiming the arts for the glory of God,” says Sonia Strumpfer, fine artist, prophetic creative, and conference organiser.

Conference highlights include, worship and teaching centered on Jesus Christ, our Creator; hands-on creative workshops such as: prophetic art piece; vision board creation, acrylic painting for beginners, group painting experience; opportunities for spiritual refreshing, creative mentoring, and Kingdom connection.

Featured contributors are Richard Ahlfeldt – Joint CEO, Rooftop Productions; Joan Keeling – prayer network leader, Transformation Christian Network; Judy Davenport – head of creative communications, at Harvest Christian Church; Tess Lovemore – professional acrylic artist inspired by creation.

The conference is open to all people, not just professional artists. “We are all made in the image of a creative God,” the organising team shares. “This event is a time to rekindle vision, renew purpose, and release artistic expression in the Presence of the Lord.”
