Let Us Worship, a movement that has led large outdoor worship gatherings in all 50 states of the United States over the past two years held an intimate open-air event in Jerusalem on a chilly Thursday evening, two days before the start of Passover celebrations in Israel.
Movement founder Sean Feucht, Jewish Israeli singer-songwriter and musical producer Yair Levi and Israeli singer, songwriter and worship leader, Shai Sol led worship at the prayer and worship evening billed Revive in 25, which brought together a group of Yeshua (Jesus) followers in the city. Sean and Yair, together with Lebanese Christian singer Carine Bassili, collaborated last year in releasing a chart-topping song, God of Israel.
Last year Sean led United With Israel marches outside Columbia University in New York and the University of Southern California in Los Angeles where Pro-Palestinian students had established camps.
“It’s not about the number of people but about releasing a sound,” he said at the Jerusalem event which was held at the local premises of Christian news network, CBN.
Days before the outreach Sean participated in an outreach to earthquake victims in a refugee camp on the Turkey-Syria border earlier this week.
A regular visitor to South Africa, Sean will be heading up a Let Us Worship Revive 25 event on Good Friday (April 25) from 6pm at Cross Culture City Church, Kibler Park, Johannesburg.
And on Easter Sunday (April 20), he will be leading another Revive 25 session at Pemba, Mozambique, where his longtime friends and ministry partners Heidi and Rolland Baker head up Iris Global Ministries.
