Mission-minded Christians from across nations, cultures and ministry contexts will converge on OM Base, Kabwe, Zambia, from August 20 to 23 for Love Africa 2026 — a gathering dedicated to collaboration, mobilisation and commissioning.
The conference theme, “God’s Mission, Our Collaboration,” is rooted in 1 Corinthians 3:8–9: The one who plants and the one who waters have one purpose, and they will each be rewarded according to their own labour. For we are co-workers in God’s service; you are God’s field, God’s building.
The 2026 theme reflects a growing emphasis on shared participation in mission, recognising that ministry is not carried by one individual, organisation or expression alone. It calls participants to recognise that every role matters — whether planting, watering, leading, serving or supporting — as believers work together with God and with one another.

Love Africa 2026 is expected to include biblically grounded teaching, worship, keynote sessions, panel discussions, workshops, prayer and reflection. Previous gatherings have created space for spiritual renewal, ministry equipping and renewed vision for God’s mission among the nations.
Workshops are expected to focus on practical ministry equipping, including mission strategy, workplace ministry, everyday discipleship, leadership development and collaboration. The event material describes these sessions as moving beyond inspiration into practical equipping that participants can apply in their own ministry contexts.
A strong feature of previous Love Africa gatherings has been the opportunity for believers from different nations, cultures and ministry backgrounds to learn from one another while exploring their role in God’s mission. Previous attendees have spoken about the practical impact the conference has had on their thinking and ministry.

Frida Gregersen from the Faroe Islands reflected on how the conference transformed her understanding of ministry in everyday life, saying: “What stood out for me was learning to minister in the workplace… We need to follow God, even in the workplace. [The teaching] really changed my mindset about that.”
Boago Matshuba from Botswana shared a key lesson taken from the gathering: “I learnt the value of taking risks for the Kingdom of God.”
These testimonies reflect the conference’s emphasis on equipping Jesus followers for practical mission, whether in churches, communities, workplaces or cross-cultural ministry settings.
The gathering also aims to create space for connections and partnerships across ministries and fields. Event organisers describe Love Africa as a place where relationships are formed, vision is strengthened and collaboration becomes reality.
Love Africa exists to mobilise the Church in Africa for global mission, equip believers to engage in God’s mission, connect ministries and individuals for greater impact, and commission people to reach the least reached.
