Many delivered, healed at ‘Revival is Now’ events in SA

Apostle Kathryn Krick of Los Angeles, USA, ministering at the “Revival is Now SA” conference at Moreleta Church, Pretoria last Saturday

Gateway News spoke with Brigitte Roos who hosted the “Revival Is Now S.A. Conference” led by charismatic United States ministry leader Kathryn Krick last weekend at the Moreleta Church in Pretoria.

Apostle Kathryn who leads 5F Church in Los Angeles, USA, also ministered in the Grand Arena in Grand West, Cape Town on Wednesday May 10 at an event hosted by Pieter and Trix Cromhout.

Brigitte said the Pretoria conference on May 12 and 13 was an “absolute success” with many people delivered from oppression. She emphasised that what took place “was not a show or just an emotional experience” but that the Lord “truly delivered and healed these people”.

Talking about her own journey with the Lord she said there was a time when she was taken away from discipleship in a college to a place of dashed dreams.

At this low point she said the Lord said to her “not her plans but His” and from there “the heavens were opened”.

She said her obedience to a calling from the Lord to invite Kathryn to visit SA last year, which came about through the unction of the Holy Spirit to three eager, praying ladies who organised small, local, Christian women’s events, proved a success,

She said at the time she invited Kathryn to SA, a certain church had been requesting Kathryn for over three months to visit SA without receiving a response. But, in what she believes was due to her obedience to God’s call, she received a response from Kathryn’s ministry team within 3 days.

She said that at the first SA conference with Kathryn last year 3 000 people attended the events and “the Lord moved miraculously”.

She said that after that first conference Kathryn told her she felt she needed to come back as the Lord had shown her that “SA is hungry for God and is a chosen nation for God!”

After a couple of challenges in January regarding arranging the event, the Lord showed her that He was in control, said Brigitte. She said 1 075 people attended the Cape Town conference last week, and there with 765 people at the event in Pretoria last Friday and 1 180 on Saturday.

She said on Sunday Kathryn led a ministry equipping meeting for servants of the Lord at the Beula Park Conference Centre, Germiston, with the desire to start a 5F Church in Johannesburg.

According to a bio on the 5F Church website, Kathryn started ministering on a mountain in Mulholland Drive, Los Angeles in 2017 after receiving a prophetic word that she was called to be an apostle of Jesus Christ.

In response to the word she put aside her pursuit of a career in Christian singing and songwriting. She is passionate about seeing people receive the power of God through the prophetic and apostolic ministry of Jesus.

Kathryn became well known through YouTube videos of her “Revival in the Park” outdoor ministry in 2021 which showed attendees being healed and delivered of demons at a time when churches were closed due to Covid.

Thereafter her ministry grew rapidly and she started ministering throughout the US and internationally. She has visited the UK., Tahiti, Romania, Spain, Dominican Republic, Canada, Germany, South Africa and more.  Her “Revival is Now” itinerary on the 5F Church website includes the Netherlands, Australia, El Paso, Texas in the upcoming weeks — https://5fchurch.org/revivalschedule.
