Men’s stories: ‘Hold your course, you will pass through’

Now, by the grace of God he is a pastor, with “the best wife in the world”, a wonderful son, and a beautiful home. But for years he had wandered away from God and gone his own rebellious way. He was addicted, angry, broken, despised, financially ruined, painfully separated from a daughter who disappeared from his life. Even after he first returned to Jesus, God stripped him of things. So, says Stephen Davids, in a forthright testimony he shared in a podcast interview with Ethan Black of KingfisherFM. But in the midst of his long wilderness journey, God encouraged him to hold the course and he finally passed through the desert place. “Maybe my message this afternoon is to somebody — to hold your course. You might be going through hard things now. But you’re going to come out of it,” he says during the podcast.
