Morena Letsosa left South Africa in February 1992 to join the ANC’s military wing. Nine months later, after undergoing military training in Zambia and Tanzania he returned to SA ready for war. But after the ANC leadership took a decision to suspend the armed struggle he enrolled at the University of Natal, Pietermaritzburg where he completed a degree in geomatics. In a recent podcast interview with Ethan Black of KingfisherFM the Centurion business owner shared how his life changed after he gave his heart to Jesus in 2008 and went on a 3-day Xtreme Character Challenge (XCC) journey in the Cederberg in 2016.
During the intensive mind, body and soul challenge God brought together two former sworn enemies, Morena and former John Vorster Square Special Branch agent Johan “Mosssie” Mostert. Morena shares how God moved deeply in their hearts and later took them criss crossing the nation to share their testimony of reconciliation. Later, he also got to participate in a deep time of mutual prayer and reconciliaton with former apartheid-era police minister Adriaan Vlok.
