“Families are torn apart. People are sick and broken and depressed. They have lost their jobs. They are in a hole. I know that hole — and there is only one way out.” Street preacher Louis Kunz was speaking to Ethan Black of Kingfisher FM about his years of drunkenness, depression, aggression, racism, suicide attempts, verbally abusing his wife, Nicky, and having no relationship with his son. Then, after a drunken motor car accident, he fell on his knees and cried out to Jesus. After Nicky took him to church, God gave him two Scriptures and he has been on fire for Jesus and full of love for all people ever since. He has baptised his son and his parents and his friends no longer recognise him. To anybody who finds themselves in a hole now, he said: “Go to the quietest room in your house. Go to your car. Then say:’Today, Jesus Christ, I don’t know you. Teach me today. Let your Spirit lead me today.’ And see what God can do.”
