The Mighty Men of the Western Cape are preparing to move to the spiritual frontlines again as they muster all men and youth to gather at Moreson Farm in Malmesbury for this year’s conference from Friday October 5 to Sunday October 7.
“This will be the fifth Mighty Men in the Western Cape since Oom Angus passed on the responsibility of keeping the men and youth inspired in the Kaap. ‘Called for Duty’ is the motto for this year’s event,” said Piper James, public relations spokesman for the event.
“The executive committee has faced many challenges since gathering and preparing for this year’s conference, but they have marched forward as a highly disciplined body and they are now ready to receive, with open arms, all who are destined to be there,” he said.
“Speakers for the weekend are Angus Buchan, Zane Meas, Johnny Louw and Douglas Baartman — all seasoned men of God who each add something different to the weekend, which is what Mighty Men Conference Western Cape is all about. Diversity across the board, so to speak, and all mixed in with that wonderful West Coast atmosphere of Snoek and Potat — Jou Lekke Ding!
“Sincere thanks to all those that have come on board and helped with sponsoring. Without your generosity and commitment, we simply could not do what we do.
“The trumpets are already sounding and the Mighty Men Anthem is being played in homes, streets, villages and towns too. The 40-day countdown with dedicated prayers has also begun. See you there mense, Amen!” concluded Piper James.
