Scottish-born missionary Pastor Laurette Mkati who celebrates 30 years missionary service in South Africa on May 17, says she sought God on how to thank Him for the privilege and heard Him say she should hold a missions conference to raise up more missionaries.
Mkati, who has been based in East London with a primary calling to the Xhosa nation for the past three decades, says she responded by organising a Kairos Missions School run by Discipling Nations School of Missions from May 19 to May 23 at Bhisho Community Church.
More information about the 9-session, interactive course which is designed to educate, inspire and challenge Christians to active and meaningful participation in mission, is available from Mkati who can be contacted at 084 753 1538 or intercessors.ec@sainet.co.za. Sponsorship is available for a limited number of people who wish to attend but cannot afford fees.
