‘Finger of God’ Filmmaker to ‘Noah’ Director: “You Misrepresented God”
This is a very difficult movie, partly because of director Darren Aronofsky’s bold vision and gutsy style. I definitely give the guy credit—he created a film that is wholly his own, wholly his vision. But therein lies the problem.

SNITCH stars Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson as John Matthews, a truck-driving construction company owner. John’s teenage son, Jason, is arrested for accepting a package of illegal Ecstasy pills. The police accuse him of being a drug distributor. Jason insists he only knows one other dealer who’s already imprisoned. He refuses to set up other friends. This puts him at risk of spending 10 to 30 years in prison due to mandatory sentencing. His father offers to bring down a drug cartel for a US attorney, in exchange for Jason’s immediate release. What follows is a rich, thoughtful, smart thriller.
SNITCH relies more on psychological, emotional fears than loud action and bloody mayhem. John consistently tries to take the smarter, less violent way out of dangerous situations. This minimises the violence while keeping viewers on the edge of their seats. Every aspect of SNITCH is top-notch, from Dwayne Johnson’s ever-growing acting abilities to the excellent supporting cast. SNITCH is a gritty movie that’s still tastefully done, inspiring, and wildly entertaining. Extreme caution is advised for significant foul language and the drug references and violence.
