Naboomspruit in the Limpopo province is hosting its first Mighty Men Conference (MMC) on the farm Uikomst, Springbokvlakte from November 3 to 5.
The first session of the newest member of the MMC phenomenon that was started in 2003 by farmer-evangelist Angus Buchan, kicks off on Friday November 3 at 7pm. Sessions on the Saturday morning and evening will focus on equipping men to accept their roles of prophet, priest and king in their homes, thereby impacting their region and spreading out to the broader community, and province.
The Sunday morning session will be a family service which women and children can attend.
Steven Haggard chairman of MMC Naboomspruit and his team are working around the clock in preparation to their first event.
“I am extremely excited about what the Lord is going to do in our area and our banners have been put up in all surrounding towns. We are expecting men to come from as far as Gauteng, Limpopo, Eastern Cape, Bloemfontein, Northern Cape, KwaZulu-Natal and even from abroad. We have a strong intercessory team and we have been praying for quite some time now to prepare the spiritual realm for godly conference. We trust that the Holy Spirit will change the hearts of many people over this weekend,” said Steven.
The theme of this year’s conference is “Love” and is taken from John 15:17 — “This I command you that that you love one another and unselfishly seek the best for one another”
Men can come and pitch their tents from 2pm on Thursday November 2 when the camping ground will open.
There will be vendors who will cater for meals and men are also welcome to bring meat for braaing, as there will be a communal braai area.
The programme is available at www.mmcnaboom.co.za where men need to register. Registration is free.
“As this is a lifechanging event where lives are transformed, we want to give all honour and glory to our Saviour Jesus Christ for His goodness in preparing the farm for a harvest of souls.
“You are invited to attend, and we are looking forward to receiving you. If you want to become involved and assist in any way by helping to serve others you are welcome to contact me on 081 329 6699,” says Steven.
