Ambassador of change, which was launched last Sunday, is a cutting-edge programme that deals with varied marketplace topics and hosts guests who are change agents in the different spheres of society.
The programme interviews one to two guests per week and discusses topical issues that are in the news headlines. It also deals with topics in the following marketplace-related spheres: family; government — governance and leadership; education; business/economy; faith/belief systems and worldviews; communication/media; arts, sport and culture; science and technology.
The primary objective of the programme is to remind the Body of Christ of its Kingdom mandate to impact and influence the marketplace. This programme sends out a clarion call to all Kingdom citizens to get involved and to add Kingdom flavour and influence according to Matthew 5:13 and 14, and obey the call to be like salt and light.
In Matthew 25:31-46, the Word of God specifically addresses the aspect of community engagement and social action. This is a charge that has been given to the Ekklessia/Church to be relevant in the community and help to add value and bring transformation in the nations and continents. A special focus will be
given to the continent of Africa and leadership on the continent.
What are the programme’s values? The key values are inspirational and educational. To teach, train, equip, empower and activate those watching the programme.. The show will also be designed to focus on character issues relating to righteousness and to encourage people to get involved in bringing change and becoming the salt and light that God intended us to be.
Who is it targeting? The key target group will be marketplace Christians and non-christian professionals, leaders and nation builders and the general population.
The programme will air every Sunday at 1pm with repeats shown every Wednesday at 7.30am and 7.30pm TBN Africa DSTV Channel 343.
Ke Nako! Let the Church and Body of Christ be mobilised to fulfill her Kingdom mandate and purpose.
